The family and police have confirmed that 41-year-old Abigail Lee-Price has died from her injuries following a hit-and-run. The family tells TV6 Price was taken off of life support Wednesday night.

At 2:32 a.m., on Thursday, Jan. 30, an officer on patrol discovered the woman, Lee-Price, lying in the roadway in the 5800 block of North Brady Street.

A preliminary investigation revealed Lee-Price suffered from serious, life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle in the roadway.

Police say the driver of the vehicle left the scene and that the driver has now been identified.

While police have released the driver's name, TV6 will not be naming this driver as charges have not been filed. In the event charges are filed, TV6 will name the driver.

Officials say the incident remains under investigation.
