Police investigating shots fired incident in Davenport

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Davenport police detectives are following up on a report of gunfire Sunday night.

Officials have not confirmed whether injuries or damages were involved in this incident. (Source: MGN).

Police say it happened at 10:53 p.m. in the 1300 block of Carey Avenue, where officers located fired cartridge cases.

One man reported injuries to his face. Police say they do not believe at this time the injuries were the result of shots being fired.

The man was treated for his injuries at Genesis East Hospital.

No other injuries or damage were reported. No other information was released Tuesday.
