UPDATE: Police respond to a truck vs. train accident in Grand Mound

GRAND MOUND, Iowa (KWQC)- UPDATE: The Clinton County Sheriff's Office told TV-6 the driver went around the stop arms.

The driver was taken to the hospital, and officials said they have minimal injuries.

Train traffic was also halted due to the collision, but officials said it didn't take long to get back to normal.

The sheriff's office said the incident is under investigation.

ORIGINAL: Police are responding to a crash in Grand Mound where a viewer tells KWQC that a train hit a truck.

The viewer says it happened just after 9 p.m. Friday Night.

Clinton County Sheriff's Deputies tell KWQC that they are currently on scene with other first responders.

No word on if anyone was injured.
