DAVENPORT, Iowa -- UPDATE 10/22: The final numbers are in for Project Bundle Up.

A total of 1050 items of clothing were donated at our TV6 studios. On top of that, the Salvation Army received $1450 in cash donations that will go towards buying more clothes.

ORIGINAL: Project Bundle Up is KWQC's annual partnership with the Salvation Army to provide clothing for children in need throughout the Quad Cities.

On Friday, Oct. 18, 2019 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., you can come to the TV6 studios and drop off your donations. You can drive up and drop off donations without having to get out of your car at 805 Brady Street.

Items needed include *NEW* coats, gloves, hats, boots, underwear and socks for children of all ages. Cash donations will also be accepted.

Items donated will be given to local schools to distribute to students most in need, as determined by the school teachers and staff members. Families can also stop by one of three Quad Cities Salvation Army locations on Wednesday, October 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The locations are 2200 5th Ave in Moline, 3400 West Central Park in Davenport and 100 Kirkwood Blvd. in Davenport.
