QCIA passengers should expect Thursday morning delays

Travelers flying out of Quad City International Airport (QCIA) on Thursday morning should expect longer security wait times, according to a post made Wednesday night on the airport’s Facebook page.

QCIA says passengers on flights departing between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. are expected to have longer wait times “due to equipment issues.”

The airport says passengers departing during this time should arrive two hours early.

“We’ve been informed by Transportation Security Administration that the issue should be resolved at or around 10 a.m.,” the post says.
