Rapper Eminem attacks President Trump in freestyle

SEATTLE (CNN) — In a heated freestyle at the BET Awards, rapper Eminem wasn't shy on letting the world know what he thinks about President Trump.

The four and half minute freestyle cited the President for distraction tactics, accusing Trump of steering attention from Puerto Rico and gun control in lieu of Twitter tirades directed at the NFL.

The rapper, 44, also recognized rising racial tensions in the country and called out fans of his own, who are also Trump supporters.

Former NFL player Colin Kaepernick, who started the Take a Knee movement, spoke out on Twitter in response to the freestyle as well.

CNN has reached out to the White House but the request for comment has not been returned.
