QUAD CITIES (KWQC) - Resurfacing work along Kimberly Rd. and Spruce Hills Dr. started Sunday, September 17.

During the project, crews will be working on a 0.5 mile stretch of road from Elmore Ave. to Utica Ridge Rd.

The work is going take place overnight between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

While the resurfacing is taking place, drivers can expect intermittent lane closures. During that time, a 10 ft. lane reduction will also be put into place.

According to the City of Davenport, at least one lane of traffic will always remain open and no lanes closures are expected past the planned overnight hours.

Drivers should look for signs and flaggers while the work is taking place.

The project is estimated to last until Tuesday, November 21.
