Scott County officials: Turnout this year surpasses 2014 elections

SCOTT Co., Iowa (KWQC) - Scott County Auditor Roxanna Moritz is expecting a higher turnout this year compared to 2014's elections.

She tells TV6 that 44% of registered Scott County voters turned out to vote as of 4 p.m. Now, Moritz is predicting a total turnout of 55%.

Moritz tells TV6 lines of voters are "out the door at many locations."

In 2014, the last midterm, voting was at 49%.
