UPDATE: NorthPark Mall incident turns out to be "nothing" according to Police

DAVENPORT, Iowa. (KWQC) - UPDATE 12/1/19: According to Davenport Police, the "disturbance" at NorthPark Mall Saturday night turned out to be "nothing."

Several police respond to NorthPark Mall for "disturbance." Police say the incident turned out to be "nothing."

Police tell TV6 the original call came in for a man with a gun at NorthPark. Police say while there was a large response to the mall, after reviewing security video, it was determined the man did not have a gun.

Police say security video showed a man and women having a fight, but say the pair were gone by the time police arrived.

They say there was not a threat to the public.

ORIGINAL: A large number of police responded to Northpark Mall on Saturday evening. Davenport Police tell us they responded to the mall for a "disturbance." At this time, officers were not able to confirm what the disturbance was. However, they say a press release should be sent out with information on December 1.
