Alderman at Large Stephanie Acri beat incumbent Mayor Scott Raes Tuesday night by a large margin.

With 41 out of 41 precincts reporting, Acri garnered 3,743 votes, while Raes had only 1,485.

Acri overcame a technicality in the primary and took home around four times the amount of votes incumbent Raes had. Tuesday's general election is a reflection of that.

Acri tells KWQC she has big plans for the city in terms of development, transparency and togetherness.

She says her main goal is work together with the citizens of Moline, fixing infrastructure, and developing land south of the Airport while working on other main projects like John Deere Road, the Q, and the I-74 bridge.
