TV6 is airing a news special focused on the new coronavirus, COVID-19 this week. This special started on Monday, March 16 and will go until Friday, March 20.

The special will air at 10:34 p.m., following our 10 p.m. newscast.

Monday night:

Guests for Monday night included local epidemiologist, Rebecca Heick and life coach Rumaisa Khawaja.

Tuesday night:

Guests for Tuesday night included Matthew Martenson, a counselor in the Quad Cities, and life coach Rumaisa Khawaja.

Wednesday night:

Guests for Wednesday night included officials from the Quad Cities Chamber. They joined TV6 to talk about resources available to small and big businesses in the area and how to support our local economy.

Thursday night:

Guests for Thursday night will include parenting coach Laura Stephens, the founder of Courageous AIM, and Becky Passman, the CEO of Milestones Area Agency on Aging. They will join TV6 to talk about how to help kids and the elderly community through this crisis.

Friday night:

TV6 spoke with the president at Bettendorf Financial Group, Douglas Wier, regarding financial future during the latest with COVID-19.

Monday, March 23

TV6 aired press conferences held by Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker and Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds.
