UPDATE: A plane crash in Lima, Ohio left two people dead. The two people killed, both of Bellevue, are being remembered by their family and friends.

Family members confirmed to TV6, one of the victims is Tracey Hartnett. A friend also confirmed the other victim is Steve Niemann.

Kevin Bunch, a friend of Tracey Hartnett doesn't know how it all happened, "no, I've asked myself that a thousand times since Friday." The plane went down around 4:30 P.M. Thursday afternoon. Bunch was notified Friday morning.

Bunch says Hartnett and the other victim Steve Niemann left Thursday, June 20th for a prospective job offer.

"Tracy was concerned about [the plane ride] and Steve had wanted her to go flying to this job in Ohio ... At the end, her schedule opened up and she said 'Okay, I'll take the job' and they jumped in a plane Thursday and never quite made it" explained Bunch.

Tracey was a big help to Bunch around the house, keeping up with his flowers.

She's someone he'll deeply miss, "she was delightful gal, had a lot of energy and was working very very hard. This shocked everybody. Just very very sad."

Tracey was a single mother trying to provide for her children, and that's one of the reasons she tried to take this extra job.

"It was kind of gratifying on my perspective to see someone absolutely on the bottom 'like how am I gonna support my boys' and use her energy to get her education" shared Bunch.

Tracey leaves behind 5 boys.Bunch said, "anyone that knows Tracey knows there is only #1 on her list and it was her boys... they're gonna have to grow up quicker than anticipated. It's unfortunate but we'll get through it. Only because we have no other choice than to get through it."

Bunch is planning the memorial service and funeral in Bellevue, although there is no set date yet.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash. The flight path for the plane has not been released.
