UPDATE 2 p.m.: I-80 is now open in both directions after a morning semi fire near LeClaire, Iowa.
UPDATE: Eastbound lanes of traffic are moving past the site of the semi fire. Westbound lanes were still at a stand still approaching noon.
UPDATE: LeClaire Police Chief Shane Themas says I-80 is closed due to a vehicle fire at mile marker 304 westbound I-80. Themas says the westbound lanes are closed at this time.
ORIGINAL: A incident just west of mile marker 304 on I-80 is affecting traffic.
The Iowa DOT says "Between Exit 306: US 67 and Exit 301: Middle Road (Le Claire). The road is blocked because of emergency vehicles."
