We are quickly approaching the Christmas holiday and along with it comes the "White Christmas" question every year. Roughly 40% of the time the QC has a white Christmas with the last occurrence being 2013.
We are watching for a major weather pattern change by Sunday. This will bring much colder air to our region. The question will be where will snow set up. With little to no run to run consistency with models we don't know the answer...yet.
The time frame we are eyeing in Sunday into Monday for snow somewhere in the Midwest. Those details will become more apparent as the weekend approaches.
The cold blast is all but certain at this point. Highs will be in the 20s and lows in the single digits. IF we get snow those temps will be much colder!
There will be a lot to watch in the upcoming days, but for now Christmas travel in the midwest looks decent this week.
