Water main break shuts water off for part of west Davenport

Iowa American Water told TV-6 there is a water main break on the 1300 block of Cedar St.

They said they got the call around 6:30 a.m. and crews are doing emergency repairs. During this time, about 25-30 customers will not have access to water.

A representative said they hope to get the repairs done in the next few hours and have access restored by around 2-3 p.m.
