Windy & Cooler Election Day/Snow & Single Digit Chills By Saturday

By  |

The wind machine will crank up today in the midewest sending temps from the upper 40s this morning to the mid and low 40s this afternoon. Temps won't stop falling there, in fact, we will only have highs in the 30s this weekend with wind chills in the single digits by Saturday morning. This means any system that strolls through the midwest will bring us snow chances. The first round will be likely Thursday night for areas south of I-80. This appears to be a dusting to half inch at best, so not a big deal. The second system will arrive Friday afternoon/evening. This will be depending on what happens with the prior system, but looks like it could give the QC a shot of snow. Now again the details will become more clear later this week, but I wouldn't expect more than an inch of snow. What is the bigger deal will be the below normal temps with some areas stuck in the 20s this weekend! Can you say, "hello winter!".
