Repairs on the water main break along River Drive in Davenport were fixed as of 4 a.m. Thursday morning according to an Iowa American Water Company representative. Crews also added a large valve and a new fire hydrant at the location.

Firefighter Adam Cain is still in critical condition but is slowly improving. According to officials, Cain is now breathing on his own after the ventilator was taken out Wednesday. This morning, Cain is scheduled to have surgery on one of his broken arms.
