Exercise may be key in fighting Alzheimer's
A new study tracking more than 200 older adults finds exercise may be an important element in the fight to prevent or slow Alzheimer's disease. It shows seniors who logged at least 9,000 steps per day, experienced less cognitive decline and brain tissue loss. Researchers say the results are especially encouraging for seniors who are at high risk for Alzheimer's.
