Iowa women earn a #1 seed for NCAA Tournament

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - The Iowa women’s basketball team will be a #1 seed for the NCAA Tournament after winning a Big Ten Tournament Championship to improve its overall record to 29-4. Iowa will host games for the first two rounds in the Albany, NY Regional.

Iowa will play on Saturday against the winner of Holy Cross vs UT Martin in Iowa City. If the Hawkeyes advance, Iowa would play the winner of West Virginia vs Princeton in a game also to be played at Carver Hawkeye Arena.

It will be the final postseason at Iowa for the reigning National Player of the Year Caitlin Clark who leads the Nation in points and assists.
