Circa 21′s Addam’s Family Musical presents new look at famous characters

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) - The musical-comedy version of The Addams Family will make its run at Rock Island’s Circa ’21 Dinner Playhouse from Sept. 4 to Nov. 2.

Audiences can delight in the Tony Award-nominated show inspired by the beloved TV comedy and the iconic cartoon strip by series originator Charles Addams.

The original story could be any father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family– a man her parents have never met.

In addition to its 7:30 p.m. preview presentations on Sept. 4 and 5, The Addams Family is scheduled to run Sept. 6 to Nov. 2 with performances on Fridays, Saturdays, and Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m., Sundays at 5:30 p.m., and Wednesday afternoons at 1:15 p.m.

All shows will be preceded by meals and pre-show entertainment by the theatre’s performing wait staff, the Circa ’21 Bootleggers.
