Sherry Evans wins Hometown Hero Award

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - TV6 and SERVPRO presented Sherry Evans with the Hometown Hero Award in appreciation of her service to the community with the Blessing Box in Blue Grass. Evans keeps the box at the end of her driveway stocked with food for the community.

“When you see children and older people especially come and get food out of it you know there’s a need so that’s the important thing you don’t want anyone to go hungry” said Evans.
