Jeff & Dana VanAutreve honored with Hometown Hero Award

PRINCETON, Illinois (KWQC) - KWQC and SERVPRO surprised Jeff & Dana VanAutreve with the Hometown Hero award in appreciation of their service to teenagers in Princeton through the Second Story Teen Center.

The center provides a safe place for teens with activities and food.

“Seeing them go to the kitchen and grab some food and say this is the first thing I’ve had to eat all day that’s I think one of the biggest drives some of our volunteers have. The other is they open up to us and share with us some of their stories, you can’t make some of this stuff up” said Jeff.
