Special Olympics coach Sherrie Fischer honored with Hometown Hero Award

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - KWQC and SERVPRO surprised Special Olympics coach Sherrie Fischer with the Hometown Hero Award. Fischer has been involved with Special Olympics for 25 years.

“Watching every person reach their personal best that they get and just the joy that they see in their celebration that they have even when it’s something that seems so small to me but it’s just so huge to them and just getting to celebrate it with them it is truly a family” said Fischer.
