Alternating Currents documentary to premiere, air on KWQC

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Alternating Currents showcases over 200 live performances, film screenings and art-related events.

The festival takes place annually and highlights the variety of talent that exists in the QCA.

KWQC-TV6 began in fall 2024 filming a documentary that captures the people, places and pivotal moments that have shaped the festival.

The documentary will air on KWQC on Aug. 14 from 9 to 10 p.m.

The documentary will be shown at the Last Picture House at 3 p.m. Aug. 17.

KWQC’s creative team said the documentary is told through the voices of artists, entrepreneurs, leaders and young creators to celebrate the creative and cultural soul of the QC.
