Lori Snow wins Hometown Hero Award

Morrison, Illinois (KWQC) - KWQC and SERVPRO honored Lori Snow with the Hometown Hero Award in appreciation of her service to those in need through the God’s Will Giving Center in Morrison. Snow and her husband opened the center two years ago to provide free food, clothing and other essential items to people in need.

“I have some rentals is how it all got started and I take people that are either homeless or at a shelter and when they come to us like that they don’t have anything so I started filling some of our garages with stuff that they could come shop and then more and more people would ask you know do you have this or do you have that and the need is there” said Snow.

“I’m like we need to just have a store so we opened a store so people can come and get what they need, life is hard and if we can help, that’s what we love to do” she said.
