EveryChild marks Child Abuse Prevention Month with April 23 Gala

MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) -EveryChild will lead a series of community events and awareness activities throughout April in recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, highlighted by the Celebrate Every Child Gala on Thursday, April 23.

The organization’s April schedule includes Pinwheel Garden Dedication Ceremonies across the Quad Cities, free community trainings, family‑focused activities and dine‑for‑a‑cause nights. A full calendar is available at foreverychild.org/calendar.

The Celebrate Every Child Gala will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Rhythm City Casino Event Center.

The event will feature hors d’oeuvres, drinks, live music from the Entropy Jazz Orchestra, and live and silent auctions. Guest speaker Angela Rose, founder of PAVE, will share her story of resilience.
