‘Cabaret’ to kick off QC Music Guild season

MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) -The high-kicking is set to launch Quad City Music Guild’s 2026 season with a Prospect Park Auditorium run April 10 to 19.

In a Berlin nightclub, as the 1920s draw to a close, a garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the Cabaret. With the Emcee’s bawdy songs as wry commentary, Cabaret explores the dark, heady and tumultuous life of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich.

Performances on Fridays and Saturdays are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Admission is $15-20. Tickets can be reserved by visiting qcmusicguild.com or by calling the box office at 309-762-6610.

Quad City Music Guild/Prospect Park Auditorium is located at 1584 34th Avenue, Moline.
