ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) -Circa ’21 Dinner Playhouse is presenting its long‑awaited production of Fiddler on the Roof, continuing the theatre’s 49th season with the classic musical running through June 27.

The production features the beloved score by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick and a book by Joseph Stein, bringing to life the story of Tevye, his family and the tradition‑bound village of Anatevka.

Performances are held Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Sundays at 5:30 p.m., and Wednesday matinées at 1:15 p.m. Pre‑show entertainment by the Bootleggers, the theatre’s waitstaff, precedes each performance.

Tickets are $70 for Friday through Sunday shows and $63 for Wednesday performances.

Based on the stories of Sholom Aleichem, Fiddler on the Roof follows Tevye as he navigates shifting traditions, his daughters’ marriages and the pressures facing Jewish families in early 20th‑century Russia. The musical features well‑known songs including “Tradition,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” “If I Were a Rich Man,” “Do You Love Me?” and “Sunrise, Sunset.”

Reservations are available through the Circa ’21 ticket office at 1828 Third Ave. in Rock Island, by calling 309‑786‑7733 ext. 2, or online here.
