No injuries have been reported after crews in Camanche responded to a semi fire Wednesday.

Officials say they were called to ADM Trucking just after 7 p.m. for a report of a semi on fire. Upon arrival, the Camanche Fire Department found a 2012 Mack Semi-tractor next to the building fully engulfed. Officials say the fire caused some damage to the building as well.

Crews used a 1 1/2-inch line to attack the fire and responded with one engine company, one ladder company, one command vehicle and an ambulance with 14 personnel.

Officials say after about 15 minutes, the fire was brought under control using about 750 gallons of water.

Crews expect the damage to total in around $35,000 for the semi and $10,000 to the building.

MidAmerican Energy was notified due to a transformer next to the truck that sustained damage during the fire.

The cause of the fire appears to be a mechanical malfunction and accidental in nature. The fire department was on scene for an hour.

The Camanche Police Department and MidAmerican Energy assisted.
