YMCA Water Park at The Landing closes early after fight

BETTENDORF, Iowa (KWQC) - The YMCA Water Park at the Landing closed early Monday after a fight broke out.

It happened after 5 p.m. between kids, according to Taylor Bley, director of marketing at the YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley. Police were called to the water park.

Additionally, EMS was called because a staff member passed out Bley said.

Bettendorf Police Chief Doug Scott said the medical heat emergency was unrelated to the fight. He said officers were called at 5:45 p.m.

Bley said the water park will be open as normal on Tuesday.
