Fans power through rain for final day of JDC

SILVIS, Ill. (KWQC) - Sunday marked the final day of the John Deere Classic and the course was packed with spectators waiting in anticipation to see who would be this year’s champion.

The day brought several scattered showers, but golf fans said that wasn’t going to ruin their plans for a good time.

“We were at our grandma and grandpas house for the 4th of July and we came here this morning to come to the John Deere Classic and we’ve been following.. Uhm.. who was it? Rickie Fowler. And we came to eat lunch and we were going to go get a souvenir .. and it started raining.. And we came here.”
