Bix at 6 training runs begin

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - The first of four Bix at 6 training runs was held Thursday evening in Davenport. The runs give Bix participants a chance to prepare on the course.

“You don’t always get that. When the police are out there” said race director Michelle Juehring.

“We’ve got water. The streets are closed, so it’s safe. You can run for the next two hours or walk. Just come out and join. Join the community” she said.

The other Bix at 6 training runs will be held on June 25th, July 2nd and July 9th beginning at the intersection of 5th and Pershing in Davenport.
