New owners bringing back Captain’s Table name to Moline riverfront

MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) - There are new owners for the longtime riverfront restaurant known as the Captain’s Table in Moline.

The owners of Stumphy’s Restaurant in Geneseo announced on Facebook they are moving to the location and bringing back the name Captain’s Table.

The restaurant burned during remodeling in 2018, reopened as Captain’s Table and then rebranded as Catfish Charlie’s. The restaurant closed in 2024.

In the announcement, the owners of Stumphy’s said they hope to have the Captain’s Table open by Nov. 4.
