Penguin Project of Sauk Valley to present ‘Shrek Jr. The Musical’

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) -The Penquin Project of the Sauk Valley is bringing Shrek Jr. The Music to life—a musical that celebrates creativity, friendship and inclusion.

The group, in partnership with Woodlawn Arts Academy and area Kiwanis clubs, is proudly presenting Shrek Jr. on stage Nov. 13-15 at Centennial Auditorium,1608 4th Avenue in Sterling, IL.

The Penguin Project is a national program that gives children and young adults with special needs a chance to perform live theater alongside peer mentors who help them learn lines, dances and songs.
