Police investigate overnight shots fired in Davenport
DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Police are investigating multiple reports of shots fired overnight in Davenport.
The Davenport Police Department reported to the area of 3rd and Lincoln Avenue just after 2:15 a.m. Thursday. When officers arrived, they found multiple shell casings in the 300 block of Redwood Avenue.
No injuries or damage was reported in the incident, according to police.
At 2:33 a.m. on Thursday, police said that they received a report of shots fired in the 2000 block of East Locust Street. When officers arrived, they found a scene along with a home and vehicle that were hit by gunfire.
Police say no other damage or injuries were reported in the incident.
Both of the shots fired incidents remain under investigation.
