Business owners express speed-limit concern after rollover at intersection
DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Owners of a bar and grill in Davenport say the speed limit is too high near their business after a single-vehicle crash Sunday.
A person who saw the crash told KWQC a car was traveling east of West Kimberly Road when they attempted to turn onto 60th Street.
The witness said the car then rolled once, landing on its roof.
When KWQC arrived, crews were working to get the car flipped and onto a tow truck.
The owners of the bar nearby, formerly Probstei Inn Bar & Grill, told KWQC they are hoping the crash brings awareness to the speed limit in the area. Currently it is 50 mph, according to nearby signs, but the owners said it should be reduced in hopes to avoid another crash.
KWQC has reached out to Davenport police for more information about the crash.
This is a developing story. KWQC will update on-air and online.
