Abi Lee was born and raised in the small town of Rio in Knox County, Illinois, and grew up watching KWQC.
She graduated ROWVA High School in 2022 and earned her B.A. in journalism from Drake University in 2025.
Abi joined KWQC as an intern in June 2024. The following August, she became a part-time Digital Content Producer. In July 2025, Abi took a full-time position as a Digital Content Producer and Weekend PM News Producer.
Abi currently lives in Geneseo with her boyfriend, Wiley, and their two cats, Frey and Topher. In her free time, Abi enjoys running, crocheting chunky yarn blankets, scrapbooking, and spending time with friends and family.
