Rock Island man facing sexual abuse charges

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A Rock Island man is facing several charges after police say he sexually abused a child.

Alexander M. Duncan, 37, is charged with:

• Two counts of felony second-degree sexual abuse
• Two counts of felony lascivious acts with a child, fondle or touch
• Indecent exposure

In February, Davenport police got a report from the Aledo Police Department about a sexual assault between 2022 and 2023, according to court documents.

Police said Duncan sexually abused the victim and would hit or threaten to hit them.

Duncan is in the Scott County Jail on a $150,000 bond. Court records show he has a preliminary hearing on May 12.
