Iowa company to shine bright at LA Olympics

OSKALOOSA, Iowa (KWQC) - An Iowa-based lighting company will play a major role in the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.

Musco Lighting has been named the official broadcast and presentation lighting provider for the games and Team USA, the company announced.

The Oskaloosa-based company will supply both field-of-play and entertainment lighting for the event.

This marks a return to Southern California for the company. Musco’s first Olympic involvement was also in Los Angeles, back in 1984, company officials said.

The 2028 Games are expected to be the largest in Olympic history, featuring more than 15,000 athletes, according to Olympic officials.
